Connie Jorsvik, BSN offers in-person and virtual healthcare planning education to corporate and community groups. With a knack for making meaningful connections with audiences, she presents practical advice on topics such as understanding and navigating the BC healthcare system, planning ahead for serious illness, how to determine end-of-life wishes including MAiD, and much more.
As one of Canada’s first independent patient navigator/advocates, since 2011 Connie has supported hundreds of patients, and their care partners, in their journeys through serious and complex illness, and end of life.
Connie is the author of Advance Care Planning: Prepare for Serious Illness, and Navigating the BC Healthcare System, and is the former National Advance Care Planning Coordinator for Dying with Dignity Canada.
